Voter Imposed Term Limits is non-profit, non-partisan and independent of all political parties. We are a ONE STEP RECOVERY PROGRAM FOR THE POLITICAL INSANITY OF THE AMERICAN VOTER. We have two goals.

Goal ONE: To educate the American People that they are being denied “EQUAL REPRESENTATION “by the Congressional Seniority System and Long Term Incumbency. These two factors combine to place the total power, of the Congress, in less then 15 members of both Houses. Nothing is done without the Seniority System and Long Term Incumbents giving there approval. This renders the other 520 Representatives useless. OUR SOLUTION: NEVER SEND ANYONE TO WASHINGTON FOR MORE THEN SIX YEARS.

GOAL TWO: The Founding Father designed the Congress with two equal, but distinct houses. The House of Representative and the House of the Senate. The House of Representative represents the People. The House of the Senate represented the STATES. The members of the House of the Senate were originally elected by the Legislators of the States and answered to the States. The passage of the 17th Amendment ended the election of the Members of the House of the Senate by the States. The States, now, have no voice in the Congress. OUR SOLUTION: Institute a legal challenge to the 17th Amendment as UNCONSTITUTIONAL because it denies the States “Equal Representation” as designed by the Founding Fathers. When we win this legal challenge, we will reestablish the vital Checks and Balances of Our Constitution.
