My name is Don Ruane. I am the Founder of  Term Limits, Voter Imposed Inc., a non-profit corporation chartered in the State of Georgia.

My passion is the FIGHT for TERM  LIMITS, VOTER IMPOSED.  I hope and pray the your Passion becomes TERM LIMITS, VOTER IMPOSED, because without you all of our FREEDOMS will be Lost.

The unique AMERICAN CULTURE and WAY of LIFE will die by ” GOOD MEN and WOMEN DOING NOTHING.

Term Limits, Voter Imposed  was born out of a complete frustration with the actions or more correctly stated the complete inaction of the United States Congress.   Congress is much to busy getting reelected to waste timereading the bills they pass or finding and implementing  SOLUTIONS to our country’s problems. Term Limits, Voter Imposed  has researched all the Term Limit initiatives and why they failed. The reason for failure is the insistence that the Congress pass a law limiting there term in office. This will never happen. The people in Congress are Professional Politicians and will never give up the power to control our  LIVES  and MONEY by  overreach the powers given to then by our Constitution.   I cast my first vote in 1960 and we still have all the same problems, today in 2009. We even have a few of the same people in OUR CONGRESS

We launched Term Limits , Voter Imposed to remind the America People that they, not Congress, have the ultimate power, their Vote.
We want the American people to regain  CONTROL  of Congress and institute an NEW UNWRITTEN RULE. The same type of UNWRITTEN RULE that existed for the Presidency from George Washington until the elections of Franklin Roosevelt in 1040.  No President served more the two  term during that period. No law was necessary.

The NEW  UNWRITTEN  RULE, “ NEVER SEND ANYONE TO CONGRESS FOR MORE THEN 6  YEARS.   Why six years?  Our research, shows conclusively,  that by 6 years in office our Senators and Members of the House of Representatives have greater allegiance to the SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS, then they have to the People back home. They only need the People back home every 2 years or every 6 years. They need the Special Interest Groups everyday for the money to buy votes and reelection.

We want you to support Term Limits, Voter Imposed with your prayers and if you firmly love your country, with your money.
