Can the Government Save US, or IS IT REAL UP TO US?
Hi Everyone.
My name is Don Ruane. I have become very, very disappointed in what goes on in Washington. I had to do something. So, I started Voter Imposed Term Limits, Inc. VITL is nonprofit, non-partisan, we do not endorse or oppose anyone.
The Professional Politicians and there friends in the Media try to SELL us that what goes on in Washington is GOOD Government. The best Government they can provide, because Governing is so Complex. I do not buy that for a second. They make it complex.
I cast my first vote, for JFK, almost 50 years ago. I vividly remember the problems they promised they would solve. It is now 2008; we still have the very same problems and some of the very same Professional Politicians still promising to solve these same problems. The Professional Politicians lives in the PROBLEM, not the SOLUTION, problems make us afraid so that we will vote for then. Professional Politicians lie, it is only political discourse, the Media swears the lie is true.
The goal of VITL is: TERM LIMITS, as the law of the land, in 12 years.
The motto of VITL is: NEVER SEND ANYONE TO WASHINGTON FOR MORE THEN 6 YEARS”.
You are asking yourself, why 6 years?
The answer is as simple as following the money. Professional Politicians need LOTS and LOTS of money to buy votes and get reelected. That is what they want more then anything else. Special Interest Groups have lots and lots of money to give to the Politicians. More money then the Voters have to give.
Right at 6 years, the people we send to Washington, owe more Allegiance to the Special Interest Groups, then they owe to the people back home.

ACTION STEP 1: Go to www.vitl.com and become a member of VITL. There are no dues or fees to become a VITL member, you will receive our Quarterly Term Limits E-letter and our VITLalerts to keep you informed of our day to day progress, both Locally and Nationally.
ACTION STEP 2: We want you to donate both your time and your money to VITL. We need your time to tell us what is going on in your city and state. We need your money to complete our Goal of “TERM LIMITS, as the law of the land, in 12 years”. We suggest $5.00 or $10.00 per month for 12 months. If you can afford more, please donate more. We guarantee that your money will be used only to further our VITLgoal. We will keep your information private and never sell or give away you information.
ACTION STEP 3: We want you to PLEAGE, the next 6 elections to VITL, and VOTE VITL”S MOTTO,
“MEVER SEND ANYONE TO WASHINGTON FOR MORE THEN 6 YEARS”.
What should you expect to get for your time and money?
1: Term Limits, as the LAW OF THE LAND, by the 12th year.
2: You will send people to Washington who live in the solution and want positive change, on their watch.
3: You will END the Congressional Seniority System that puts the Control of our DESTINY in the hands of 20 Professional Politicians.
4: You will Restore the CHECKS and BALANCES of the Constitution.
5: You will get Smaller Government
6: You will get a Balanced Federal Budget and begin to pay off the Federal Debt.
7: You will get a New, Fair and Balanced Tax System to make us Competitive in the “Global Marketplace”.
Don’t ever let anyone tell you that TERM LIMITS are a new FAD and will go away, in time.
I will close with a Quote from Thomas Jefferson. When asked about Limiting Terms in Office, he wrote the following, “Do not tell me of your confidence in men, but bind then down with the chains of the Constitution”.
